About me: 

I am a lifelong resident of Clairton who graduated from Clairton High School and worked at Hercules Inc. for 42 years as an Electrician. I am married to Joan Phillips-Virgona, and we have four children and two grandchildren. I was President of The Independent Chemical Workers Union for 8 years and continue to be an active member of a number of different organizations in the City. 

My goals as Mayor:

My hopes for the rejuvenation of Clairton's downtown area keeps me focused on economic development for the city. I also strive to assist in the cleanup efforts to address the crime and drug problems plaguing our community. As a Councilmen for over 14 years, I'm most proud of the Remodeling of Clairton Pool, the creation of the Clairton Park Pavillion and the Revamping of the Ravensburg Bridge.
